ABOUT ME

My name is Keri Stec and I have been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist since 2003. I have worked with children and adults in inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation and school settings. Currently, I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Rice Elementary School in the Crestwood School District in Mountain Top, PA. It is my passion to help all children succeed and be successful in their ability to communicate to achieve academic success. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two children. I also enjoy singing and playing the piano, organ and flute. In addition to being a Speech-Language-Pathologist, I am the music director at a church in the Mountain Top area.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch,

a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around."

~Leo Buscaglia
